PEILING KAO DANCES
I am an Associate Professor of Dance at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. I teach modern/contemporary dance, somatic based technique, movement improvisation, choreography, interdisciplinary collaborations, stage production, as well as Taiwanese and Chinese Dance.
Since moving to the US, I have taught dance at Mills College, Hollins University, Alonzo King LINES Ballet BFA Program at Dominican University of California, LINES Ballet Training Program, U.C. Santa Cruz, University of San Francisco, California State Univeraisty East Bay, Western Washington University, Austin Peay State University, Shawl-Anderson Dance Center in Berkeley CA, ODC in San Francisco, RoCo Dance in Marin CA, Taiwanese American Center in San Francisco Bay Area, and Chinese American International School in San Francisco. Internationally, I have guest taught at Taipei National University of the Arts, University of Taipei, Tainan University of Technology, University of Roehampton (UK), and Falmouth University (UK)
